First you give in to that harpy Taylor Swift and her newest, desperate call for attention / pretentious open letter. Now you’re dropping Bono’s Artists icon?
Seriously, why? Just why. I’m sure Bono could not care less about it, him being the biggest rock star on the planet and all. But I need an explanation.

I see that as disrespect towards Bono, and I highly disagree with Apple’s decision. They really should’ve just kept the icon.

Yes! I don’t think Apple ever explained why, or at least I couldn’t find anything online. Perhaps it was all the backlash with the free album? No matter the reason though, you’re right – it was disrespect. I was seriously offended by it.
